Starting in June 2024, Google will restrict the functionality of suspended Google Ads accounts. Advertisers will receive in-product notifications informing them of the limitations. While suspended accounts will remain accessible, users will be limited to specific actions:
- Billing Options: Advertisers can make payments, download tax documents, and add payment methods.
- Account Settings: Users can cancel accounts and claim refunds.
- Appeals and Verification: Suspended accounts can be appealed, and advertisers can complete verification processes.
- Security Settings: Security settings within the Google Ads account can be updated.
- Navigation: Users can navigate to any page within their Google Ads account.
- Reports: Information and associated reports can be read and downloaded.
All other functionalities will be disabled in suspended accounts. These changes apply only to suspended accounts and do not affect active accounts. For more information, users can learn about account suspensions on Google’s support pages.
